  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 10:00 - 16:30
  • Thursday: 10:00 - 20:00
  • Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 - 16:00
  • Closed on Mondays, public holidays and from  24.12. to 6.01.

Guided tours for groups by arrangement


Concerts, film presentations and temporary exhibitions are held in the vaults of the building. Entry is through the permanent exhibition.

 
How to find us: 
By car:
Leave the A5 (from Frankfurt/Darmstadt or Karlsruhe/Stuttgart) at the Heidelberg junction, heading towards the city centre (Innenstadt). Follow the signs for the castle (Schloß). Turn right when you reach Peterskirche in Klingentorstraße, then follow the main road (Oberer Fauler Pelz) until you reach Bremeneckgasse. The Centre is on the left-hand side.


By bus:
From the main railway station, take lines 11 or 33 to the "Bergbahn/Rathaus" stop.
